Want to bring it to the next level in the music industry?
I just got back from a weekend in New York City. This is the one city in the United States that is known for being “on top of the game”. When moving to New York, you are expected to be a leader and make things happen.
I came to New York to do some preproduction with a band called Simple Freud, and to tour some studios for Simple Freud’s record. It is interesting to note that the studios that I toured, even the more budget rooms, had their infrastructure put together in a more professional manner than most similar rooms in Boston.
What does this say about your band?
Maybe you don’t have your SHIT together as well as you think you do. Maybe you aren’t getting the gigs you want, attracting the press that you want, and doing more with you music because you are not as organized as you could be. Maybe you are Bangor Maine instead of New York City.
Does this sound like your scenario? Message me, I know some people who might be able to help.
A side note: if you are a studio owner reading this, consider your organization. There is a REASON that big rooms use SSL style patchbay configurations. They are easy and simple to work with. Why are you making your room difficult to work in?
